Texans Kill All Trade Rumors

The Texans are going to keep their picks, at least their first one, which is first overall.

Many people suspected that the Texans would trade one of their picks away. This isn't the case tonight.

Earlier this afternoon, ESPN insider Adam Schefter tweeted out that the Houston Texans would stay at the number 1 pick. Expect the words "With the first pick in the NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select..." read aloud, followed by a name.

Along with this, various sources are saying the Texans are done taking trade offers. The Texans who hold 11 picks in this years draft seem content to stay with all 11.

Another report from a Patriots insider said that the Texans were in the market to give a pick away for backup quarterback Ryan Mallet. With the sources speaking that the Texans are staying put with all 11 picks now shoots down this rumor, and all others.
