Start the game
Czech Republic v Armenia at the Epet ARENA in the International Friendly
Referee
Julian Weinberger will be the referee for today's match.
Armens
Armenia failed to qualify for this year's European Championship, in what was their 15th failed attempt to reach the World Cup or Euro. They will travel to Prague in poor form after losing 1-0 to Kosovo in Yerevan on Friday, making it seven games without a win (2E, 5D), while scoring just twice in their last four matches (1E, 3D).
Czech
With only one home defeat since September 2021 (8V, 4E), and with three wins out of four (1D) in the previous four H2Hs, Czech fans should be optimistic for this friendly. But with only one more game scheduled before this summer's European Championship, Hašek could also use this clash to experiment and try out new combinations.
Players to watch:
Although captain Tomáš Souček failed to score four consecutive international goals against Norway, he did provide the assist for the first goal, making it two assists in his last three games for club and country. Lucas Zelarayán contributed to four (3G, 1A) of Armenia's nine goals in Euro qualifying, including three times (2G, 1A) in the last away win.
Armenia
Despite a promising start to their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, Armenia will not be taking part in the tournament in Germany after finishing fourth in a five-team group, with only Latvia being worse off, while Turkey and Croatia secured automatic places in the competition. Consecutive wins over Wales and the aforementioned Latvia gave the team the chance to finish in the top two of the group, but a run of five games without a win at the end of the campaign ruined any chance of qualification.
In early June, Armenia will take advantage of the upcoming international break to prepare for their Nations League C campaign, which starts in September, with Oleksandr Petrakov's team placed in a group with Latvia, North Macedonia and the Faroe Islands. The team have failed to win any of their last five friendlies, with their most recent success coming in March 2022, when a single shot from striker Vahan Bichakhchyan was enough to beat Montenegro.
Czech Republic
The visitors haven't prepared well ahead of the European Championship in the summer, as their coach, Jaroslav Silhavy, resigned after leading the country to the final round. The coach then resigned and was replaced by Ivan Hasek, the man who briefly managed the national team in 2009.
The final qualifying matches were a merry-go-round of emotions for the team, as they were beaten 3-0 by Albania and then beat the Faroe Islands at home. A draw against Moldova left them in the lurch, as they needed to avoid defeat against the Moldovans in the last round to qualify and even though they only needed a draw they won 3-0.

Czech Republic-Armenia Prediction - Czech Republic favorites
The Czech Republic have a superior team to Armenia and will have home advantage. I therefore believe that the Czechs will dominate the match and win comfortably.
Armenia - No wins for seven matches
Armenia are going through a bad patch this season and face the Czech Republic after seven matches without a win, five defeats and two draws. Due to their poor form, they failed to qualify for Euro 2024.
Czech Republic - Fresh from victory over Norway
The Czech Republic come into the match against Armenia in high spirits after beating Norway 2-1. It's worth remembering that the Czech team qualified for Euro 2024 with a good performance.
The team's Euro qualifying campaign consisted of four wins, three draws and one defeat, with 12 goals scored and six conceded.

Favoritism
The Czech Republic and Armenia meet in a friendly this Tuesday in what will be the last match for both teams in this FIFA Dates period.
Although many teams end up playing these friendlies on neutral territory, the match will take place at the home of the Czech Republic.
The team has only won 2 of the 8 games it has played and given the level of recent performances, we don't think it's a good bet for the match against the Czech Republic.
The home side are the favorites and we believe they will win by a good margin. Therefore, your handicap line will be our betting choice.
Tips
The match between Armenia and the Czech Republic pits two teams that don't like each other offensively. In their last few games, most of them have been low-scoring, and these were Euro qualifiers.
Now, in this friendly, I think we'll have an even less eventful game and I don't understand why this score line is at 2.5, which is why I'm taking it as my best bet for the match.

TIME AND PLACE!
The Czech Republic has begun its preparations for Euro-2024. Truth be told, for the time being they have chosen not-so-strong opponents, one of whom is undoubtedly Armenia. However, the visitors have an excellent chance of standing out against a solid European mid-table. The favorite in this pair is obvious, but we'll make a prediction with a more interesting coefficient.
In qualifying for Euro-2024, the Czech Republic came second in a relatively easy group. In the end, they lost to Albania on equal points, but secured their place. The day before, the team faced Norway, who didn't qualify for the Euros. Their opponents fielded the strongest possible line-up, with Haaland leading the attack. However, the Czechs were successful away from home, despite conceding the first goal. David Zima equalized before the break and Antonin Barak put the Czech Republic ahead in the 85th minute.
In qualifying for Euro-2024, Armenia finished only fourth in their group, losing out to Croatia, Turkey and Wales. The team's top scorer was Lucas Zelarayan with three goals. He was also a starter in the recent friendly against Kosovo. However, the striker failed to stand out, as did his teammates. Armenia are missing a quality midfield player like Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who stopped playing for the national team after 2023.
