This writer marked out big time on Monday Night RAW when “The Boy Wonder of WWEShane McMahon marched into the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan to lay claim to what he says is rightfully his. It has been claimed that there is a behind the scenes riff involving Shane, Stephanie McMahon & Triple H.

Shane Has Early Start In WWE

Shane has held various roles within WWE both on-screen & off-screen capacity. McMahon was only just 15 years old when he first quit the WWE. He worked in the warehouse, stuffing programs, mailing merchandise, learning the business from the bottom up just as his father Vincent Kennedy McMahon had from his dad Vincent James McMahon. But he was barely making a dent in his car fund so he felt that he would try ventures new in the hope of making some serious money.

He would return to the company a short time later and he would toil with the ring crew and then as a referee. Once he finished college, this is when Shan finally became a player as he became a full-time employee. He initially began in WWE’s marketing, production & sales departments and at the print magazine.

Shane Resigns

Shane was always seen from that point on as “The Crown Prince of WWE”. He eventually ascended to the role of Executive Vice President of Global Media up to 2009. He was also a sporadic wrestler who always put on a show for the crowd. In 2009, McMahon announced his resignation from WWE that went into effect January 1st, 2010. He went to become CEO of multi-platform entertainment Service Company You on Demand in late-2010. McMahon also sits on the Board of Directors for International Sports Management representing talent such as Ernie Els and Rory McIlroy to name a few.

So when Shane was out in the world of business, Triple H and Stephanie gained power while Shane was then left out in the cold. With Shane back in the picture, WWE could once again see an internal power struggle behind the scenes as well as on screen.
