Damian Lillard won't only play in the All-Star Game during the All-Star Weekend in Atlanta, but he will also feature in another competition as part of the festivities.

Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reported Portland Trail Blazers superstar  Lillard will participate in the 3-Point Contest on March 7.

Lillard, who is third in the league in 3-pointers made (105) while shooting 38%, is expected to be named an All-Star for the sixth time this season.

The 30 year-old is averaging 29.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game this season. As a serious candidate for MVP, Lillard is leading the Trail Blazers to the playoffs despite not having CJ McCollum, Zach Collins and Jusuf Nurkic due to injuries.

Yahoo Sports' also confirmed the 3-Point Contest and Skills Challenge will take place prior to the All-Star Game on the same day and the Slam Dunk Contest will be performed at halftime.
