Manchester City host West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon, as the Hammers look to remain in the top four of the Premier League.

West Ham most recently beat London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, 2-1 on Sunday, as a very impressive team performance pushed the Hammers into the fourth place. 

Michail Antonio opened the scoring from a fantastic Jarrod Bowen cross, in the opening minutes to set up the big clash. 

The second half started the same. Star boy, Jesse Lingard, linked up well with Pablo Fornals for the loanee to curl a beautiful shot past Hugo Lloris with his weak foot. 

Gareth Bale coming on at half-time and changed the dynamic of the Spurs' side, however, despite his assist, to bring the visitors back into the game, West Ham extended their point difference to nine in-front of Tottenham.

Manchester City beat Arsenal on Sunday afternoon as an early Raheem Sterling header plundered the three points at the Emirates Stadium. 

Riyad Mahrez, brilliantly, dribbled the ball into the 18-yard-box before crossing the ball to Sterling to rise and header into the top corner.

Arthur Masuaku will be missed again as he recovers from a successful knee operation. 

Angelo Ogbonna and Andriy Yarmolenko both remain on the sidelines.

Manchester City - Ilkay Gundogan

The German midfielder has been in the goals recently and is enjoying his vital role under Pep Guardiola .

Gundogan has 11 goals so far this season along with an assist. The 30-year-old will look to use his experience to break down an inform West Ham side. 

West Ham United - Jesse Lingard 

After making his fourth appearance on Sunday, against Tottenham, the attacking midfielder starred once again for the Hammers. Driving West Ham forward superbly, Lingard will look to build on his very impressive start to his new club. 

The 28-year old was brilliant against Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Spurs, being the standout player on the pitch. Settling in very quickly, Lingard has three goals and an assist, pushing the Hammers into the Champions League places.
