Carlos Corberan's men take on promotion chasing Cardiff City on friday night. Mick McCarthy's Bluebirds are looking to make a rally for the play-offs, whilst Huddersfield Town are searching for a vital win to move away from the bottom of table. Terriers manager Corberan addressed the media’s questions ahead of the big game under the lights.

  • On the self belief of the squad

"I think without this belief its difficult to face any game, you need to have the belief, knowing that you can win any game is important, whether you are at the top of the league or at the bottom of the league. Because everything in the Championship, every team has different type of strengths, but I think we need to face every opponent with a lot of level of respect and confidence to face the game. The demand is key in every moment of the year."

  • He gave an update on injuries and availability from the last game

"The only player available is going to be Jaden Brown as he was sent off against Preston. He couldn't play and now he is going to be available. It will be our decision to move him into the team or not. Fortunately we haven't lost any players from the previous game so we are going to have the same number of options.

"The idea is that with Danny Ward and Jonathon Hogg, they are going to be involved in training after the Cardiff game, so if everything goes well they will be around the team, especially Hogg, his injury was short term.

"Danny Ward's injury was more long term, both are going to be ready to work with the group. With Danny Grant he is a player that is working by himself now, this week he has trained to be ready, but we are talking about one player that is on a different level and has a different experience with the squad, so we need to manage him very well."

  • An advantage playing on Friday night ahead of everyone else?

"We are not going to face the game in the same way and not in a different way knowing the results of other teams, so for me we will face the team and the game with the same experience, level personality and commitment, knowing the result or not knowing the results of opponents. Only difference is we are going to play the game twice in a week, this is a new challenge for us, never in the league during this year have we played two times in a row.

"Sometimes when you are given two days between one game, in the next game you have three days between the match but this week will be different. Cardiff is in the same situation so we don't have any type of advantage or disadvantage with the opponents, something which is positive. But in the first time this year we are going to play two games with two days in between."
