Millwall are missing five key players due to injury, but Lions boss Gary Rowett has provided a positive injury update.

Positive update on the injury front

Rowett hopes to have Kenneth Zohore, Connor Mahoney, Murray Wallace, Maikel Kieftenbeld and Ryan Leonard all back by the end of the international break.

Millwall's first game after the international break is on April 2nd at home to Rotherham United.

The Lions have struggled with injuries this season, and therefore haven't been able to win some games they might've done with the injured players playing. It has also meant Gary Rowett has lacked options from the bench.

Speaking to The South London Press, Gary Rowett said:

"Ken and Lenny will be back around the international break - either just before or after it. Probably Murray will be the same and Connor. So in three or four games we should be in a much stronger position.

"Every time Connor has tried to kick on he has felt a bit of discomfort with his quad. It is frustrating. It looks like it could be the difference between now and the end of the season - how quickly we get some key players back so that we can rotate at the right times in the right games."

Bradshaw set for time on the sidelines

Tom Bradshaw could be set for a spell on the sidelines, after Gary Rowett admitted he is a doubt for Saturday when Millwall host Blackburn Rovers.

Speaking to News at Den, Rowett said:

"He had a little bit of tendinitis in the Achilles, he's another one that succumbed to an injury, we hope it's not too serious. But Bradders is another one who will be a doubt for Saturday."

Millwall have been very unlucky this season with injuries, but the news of these players returning will be welcome news for the club, and if they can continue their decent form, they could continue to climb the table.
