MK Dons are hoping to make it five consecutive league wins when they take on Crewe Alexandra at Stadium MK on Easter Monday afternoon.

The latest of these victories came against Doncaster Rovers at Stadium MK. Daniel Harvie scored the game's only goal with under 15 minutes left to play to keep Russell Martin's side's faint hopes of the play-offs alive.

On the other hand, Crewe will be looking to bounce back from defeat on Good Friday against Hull City. Crewe did take the lead in that game from the spot through Chris Porter, but a penalty at the other end from Josh Magennis and a 91st-minute winner from Malik Wilks saw the Tigers take all three points.

Due to their fixture against Lincoln City being called off on Friday due to a COVID outbreak, MK Dons will be hoping their over week-long rest will give them the edge in this one. Crewe did win the reverse fixture 2-0 back in September, with goals from Mikael Mandron and Oliver Finney.

Team News

Midfielder David Kasumu is set to return for the Dons after three months out injured. Kieran Agard, Jay Bird and Ben Gladwin all remain injured for the Dons.

Crewe are still without Josh Lundstrum and Oliver Finney. Defender Luke Offord might return to the side after being named in the squad for Friday's defeat against Hull.

Predicted Lineups

MK Dons: Fisher; O'Hora, Darling, Lewington; Laird, O'Riley, Surman, McEachran, Sorinola; Fraser, Jerome

Crewe: Jääskeläinen; Daniels, Lancashire, Beckles, Pickering; Lowery, Wintle, Ainley; Dale, Mandron, Kirk

Ones to Watch

MK Dons- Cameron Jerome

You may have thought that the veteran striker was coming back to England to wind down his career, but Jerome has become indispensable to Russel Martin at MK Dons. Jerome has smashed in 15 goals this season, though he is a couple of games without a goal now but has netted three goals in his last two games at Stadium MK, so he could be a good bet to score against Crewe.

Crewe Alexandra- Mikael Mandron

From one top goal scorer to another, Mandron has netted eight times for Crewe and laid on four assists.

He is like your traditional number nine and can score many types of goals. Only featuring as a substitute in the last couple of games, the Frenchman will be raring to go if given the start against MK Dons.

Where to Watch

UK residents will be able to watch the game live on the club's iFollow page, on Monday 5th April with the game kicking off at 15:00 PM.
