The UEFA Champions League draw has been concluded, with Manchester City's group stage fate decided.
Pep Guardiola's side will be looking to go one step further than they did in the previous campaign, after a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the 2020/21 Champions League final.
The Citizens will be the top-seeded team in Group A, but who will join them?
Paris Saint-Germain
It was written in the stars, wasn't it?
Manchester City will be joined by Paris Saint-Germain, the side whom they knocked out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage last season.
PSG will bring a new look side to the Etihad this time around though, with Lionel Messi & co sure to pose quite the challenge for Guardiola's side.
And if recent rumours are anything to go by, we could well be set for Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo: Volume III...
RB Leipzig
Bundesliga runners up RB Leipzig will be making another trip to the North West this season, but they will be heading to the Etihad Stadium instead of Old Trafford.
The home tie will mark a return to East Manchester for Spanish fullback Angelino, following his £15,000,000 move to Leipzig this summer.
It will be the first time the two sides have met in Europe's elite competition.
Club Brugge
The fourth and final team making up Group A will be Belgian Pro League champions, Club Brugge.
Brugge will be the rank outsiders in what looks to be a super competitive group, although they will bring some Premier League experience with them in the form of former Liverpool stopper, Simon Mignolet.
Dates
The UEFA Champions League group stage will begin on September 14th/15th and will conclude on December 7th/8th.
