Bristol Rovers host Crawley Town at the Memorial Stadium in a key early-season clash at the bottom of the EFL League Two table.

The Gas are third from bottom with four points, just one point and one place above the relegation zone while the Red Devils also sit on four points in 20th place, but have a superior goal difference to their hosts.

Team news

The only change expected for Bristol Rovers could be Paul Coutts replacing Sam Finley in midfield.

George Francomb, Reece Grego-Cox and Tom Nichols are all doubtful for Crawley, but have participated in light training. Kwesi Appiah may replace Sam Ashford to provide a more physical presence up front.

Ones to watch

Aaron Collins & Brett Pitman

Collins and Pitman form an electric strike duo for Bristol Rovers. The 24-tear old has loads of pace and acceleration, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists with Forest Green Rovers before signing this summer with the Gas.

Pitman is an experienced, reliable striker who has scored in double figures for each of his three previous clubs. A pinpoint finisher, he has an eye for goal as well as being an excellent passer.

Tom Nichols

The Crawley number nine scored 11 times in 43 appearances for the Red Devils and was voted the club's Player of the Year, providing the greatest threat to the Bristol Rovers defense.
