Northampton Town host Sutton United at Sixfields Stadium as both teams look to continue their recent good form in EFL League Two.

The Cobblers have only lost once in their last six matches and are coming off of a 2-2 draw against Salford City while the Yellow Army won for the third time in their last four games following a 4-0 thrashing of Carlisle United.

Northampton are amongst the playoff places in fifth with 15 points while Salford have taken 11 points from their eight games to sit in 14th position.

Team news

Defender Sid Nelson tore his ACL and will be a long-term absentee for Northampton. Captain Joseph Mills will also be sidelined. Dominic Revan managed to play 80 minutes in an in-house and could be included in the Cobblers squad.

Sutton will be without forward Tobi Sho-Silva and goalkeeper Brad House through injury. Manager Matt Gray has signed former Yeovil Town, Ebbsfleet United and Billericay Town shot-stopper Matt Palmer to a one-month contract.

Adam Lovatt has rejoined the Yellow Army after the midfielder completed his loan spell at National League South side Tonbridge Angels.

Ones to watch

Danny Rose (Northampton Town)

He showcased his overall skill as his work rate was brilliant against Salford, often playing as the lone striker, brilliantly producing a flick to Paul Lewis and also contributing a vital goal-line clearance with the score 1-1.

Donovan Wilson (Sutton United)

The 24-year old forward is Sutton's leading scorer with four goals. Signed on a permanent deal before the season started, he provides the Yellow Army with pace and should be a handful for the Northampton defense.
