Morgan Gibbs-White has shown his true quality and potential so far this season whilst being out on loan at Sheffield United, and has thoroughly impressed Wolves boss Bruno Lage.

So far this season, the young English midfielder has featured six times and picking up three goals and two assists, helping the Blades to multiple victories.

He has been influential to the way that Sheffield United progress forward up the pitch, as he has created 13 chances with a 50% dribble success and 11 key passes.

Whilst talking to the press ahead of the match against Aston Villa,  Bruno Lage said how impressed he has been with Gibbs-White, and if he could be coming back to the Molineux earlier than expected.

"I am very happy with Morgan. I don't look at him in the same way I look at Luke [Cundle], I look at him as a main player for us. When Hwang [Hee-Chan] came to the club, we knew he wasn't going to have as much time to play and we took the decision to move him out on loan and we are very happy with him."

"Every time we look at the players who are out on loan and every time we are very happy with what Morgan is doing. He is working hard and is a very good player and he works very well. The way he works with us and also the way that he works with Sheffield United."

Bruno Lage has spoken in length so far this season about the squad not being big enough and having enough quality in-depth, so the idea of recalling Gibbs-White from loan was suggested.

"No, look we are happy where he is and even if no new player comes into the club, we will look at the options we have and make sure we take the best decision for the club and the player as well."

Morgan Gibbs-White has taken the EFL Championship by storm this season and has been Sheffield United's shining light in a relatively poor season so far.

The experience that he will gain will be vital for his development which Wolves fans will be hoping for so that he can come back to the club next season and really compete for a first team spot.
