Antonio Conte will have his first big challenge as Tottenham Hotspur's manager when the North London side visit Everton at Goodison Park this Sunday.

The Italian manager will headline a classic manager battle against the experienced Spanish Gaffer, Rafael Benítez.

Tottenham currently sit ninth in the league race with a total of 15 points in 10 games. On the other hand, despite Everton struggling with injuries this season, they are still just one point behind Spurs.

Although Everton are down three starters in Dominic Calvert Lewin, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, playing away at Goodison Park is never easy.

''Our expectation is to have a tough game because Everton is a really good team, Goodison Park is not an easy place to play at,'' Antonio Conte said in the pre-game press conference.

''At the same time, we want to show, to try to improve the result, especially for our place in the table. It won’t be easy.''

Ones to watch

Spurs

As usual, the player to watch for Tottenham will be the England striker, Harry Kane, who is expected to raise his level following Antonio Conte's appointment.

So far this season, the England Captain has recorded a total of seven goals across al competitions for Spurs, including a hat-trick off the bench in the Conference League group stage.

Everton

For the home side, the rapid Brazilian forward Richarlison is the player that Spurs will have to pay the most attention to.

The 24 year-old had a successful summer with Brazil in the Tokyo Olympics winning the Gold Medal, and will look to translate his good momentum into the Premier League.

This season, Richarlison has scored two goals and provided one assist in six league games.
