Tottenham Hotspur really needed to get a result at the King Power Stadium to carry  on their good momentum in the Premier League.

Spurs hard work and desire against Leicester City paid off until the final second of added time.

Steven Bergwijn's late-double secured a big away comeback 2-3 win for Tottenham.

Stevie's impact

Patson Daka and James Maddison gave momentarily leads to Leicester in the 24th (1-0) and 75th minute (2-1) respectively.

38 minutes into the game, Harry Kane opened up the Spurs scoring and recorded his 18th goal career goal in 17 games against the Foxes.

The Dutch national scored in the 95th and 97 minute respectively to earn all three points after coming in as a substitute less than 10 minutes before.

Conte speaks

The Italian manager spoke to the media after the team's dramatic win and Steven Bergwijn's impact.

''It was an amazing game, honestly we didn't deserve to lose the game, we created many chances and in many circumstances we were unlucky,'' Conte said.

''To arrive in added time losing 2-1 obviously there was great disappointment in the end my players showed great decisions. Don't give up. They showed me great desire, when we got the draw we tried to restart quickly.''

It should be noted Antonio Conte was jumping all over the sidelines after the Bergwijn's winning goal.

''He offers us different characteristics,'' Conte said on the Dutch man.

''He is a creative player. He is an important player. You know very well that the player has to be happy and I think that the player is happy to stay with us at Tottenham Hotspur.''

Antonio Conte has not lost a league match since taking over in November, 2021 (six wins and three draws).
