With the January window just days away from closing, Tottenham are still looking to secure Traore, with Ndombele potentially on his way to France.

When Antonio Conte was appointed as Tottenham Hotspur manager, there was a general feel that the club would invest heavily in January to satisfy his demands.

So far, with only a number of days left, Spurs haven't signed a single player. However, as is usually the case, a lot of deals are reportedly in the works.

  • Adama finally on his way to Spurs?

It feels like forever since Tottenham were first rumoured to be interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers' electric winger. With just five days to go until the window slams shut, Tottenham are seemingly no closer to agreeing a fee.

Adama Traore is seen by Conte as a player that can come in and play right wing-back, as the Spaniard would offer more going forward than summer signing Emerson Royal.

With nobody else linked with Tottenham in that position it certainly gives off the impression that it is Traore or bust.

Although with Fabio Paratici known for speaking with multiple agents at once there may yet be a twist in the wing-back position before Monday's deadline.

Recently emerged central-midfield target Sofyan Amrabat has been met with little optimism from the Spurs faithful.

Many Spurs fan have questioned whether a non-starter for the Italian outfit Fiorentina is up to the task of improving the Tottenham midfield.

The deal is rumoured to be an initial loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Some optimism can be taken for Spurs fans though as it was only a couple of years ago Amrabat was voted in the top three best midfielders in Serie Athe Moroccan international could operate the same way Brozovic did for Conte during his time at Inter.

  • Diaz dream leaves Spurs fans purring

Perhaps the most exciting rumour this window comes in the shape of Porto winger Luis Diaz, with reports that Spurs ready to pay £46 million with add-ons for the Columbian international.

Diaz is thought to want to play in the Premier League, but whether he views Tottenham as a big enough club remains to be seen.

It's reported that Porto want closer to the release fee for Diaz, a figure with stands at 80 million euros (£66.8 million).

  • Ndombele departure heats up

Things just haven't got going for Tanguy Ndombele. He has shown shown glimpses of brilliance during his time at Tottenham but it's just not quite happened for the Frenchman.

There have been reports of a potential reunion with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Paris Saint-Germain are looking to bring in Ndombele on an initial loan, with Tottenham likely wanting to include an obligation to buy.

On a huge £200k p/w, moving the midfielder on might be needed in order for Tottenham to strengthen during this window.

It's thought there is some interest in Spain for Ndombele, but whether the midfielder would be as open to a move there is yet to be known.

Another player who's struggled to show their best in a Spurs shirt is Giovani Lo Celso, and he has been linked with a move back to Spain.

Though there's nothing concrete yet, it's thought Tottenham may look to use Lo Celso in some sort of swap deal.

  • Dele wanted by a host of English clubs

With talks of Newcastle United, Southampton and Brighton and Hove Albion keeping an eye on the Englishman, Dele Alli's time at Tottenham could well be coming to an end.

The £100k p/w could prove to be a stumbling block, perhaps not for Newcastle, but again it seems Tottenham would be happy to loan with an obligation to buy in order to free up some of the wage bill.
