Brighton & Hove Albion travel up north to visit enemy soil to face Newcastle on the 28th matchday of the Premier League.

St' James Park will host the game between two teams which come to it with different forms. Whilst the home team have not lost a game since December, therefore getting out of the relegation zone, the away team have lost their two last games.

Graham Potter men have not scored a single for the past couple of games having that in mind, the team will try and cut the streak.  On the other side, despite their bad form lately, Brighton have been a strong team when playing away, having lost only twice in 13 away games.

Additionally, the gaffer confirmed Adam Webster's absence while Adam Lallana and Enock Mwepu are recovered in time to travel with the team.

"Adam Lallana has made good progress and will train with the group tomorrow. It might not be a case of him starting on Saturday, but we will see where he's at."

Eddie Howe has changed the team´s mentality as the magpies have escalated from the relegation zone up to the 14th place and four points clear from it.

Their form is one of the best in the Premier League as they have won four of their last five games. Massive impact from their winter transfers that have helped the club to find their gamestyle.

Ones to watch

Neil Maupay: The Frenchman is a menace to every team in the Premier League. The striker has scored eight goals so far and has being nominated for the February Goal of the Month.

Saint-Maximin: Maupay´s compatriot is Brighton´s biggest threat as Callum Wilson will be out for this game. The winger is full of resources and agility and could cause big problems for the defence.

Previous meetings

On their last meeting, game ended in a draw (1-1). Leandro Trossard put the seagulls in front after scoring from the penalty sport but Wilson equalised the game in the second half.

The magpies are yet to beat Brighton in the Premier League. Both teams have faced each other up to nine times in which they split points in five occasions and lost on the other four. Last time Newcastle beat Brighton was in 2017 when they both played in the Championship.
