Derby County have just five games left in which they need to win a minimum of three if they are to stay up this season, with results also needing to go their way elsewhere.

Fulham have all but confirmed their promotion as the Cottagers are currently 10 points clear of second-placed AFC Bournemouth.

The Rams will be without midfielder Max Bird as he is serving a three-game suspension following his red card against Preston North End. The only other absentee is Colin Kazim-Richards who is unlikely to play again this season after picking up an ankle injury back in March.

Fulham

Marco Silva confirmed he has a full squad available for the match against Derby. Tom Cairney was a doubt but is back available after suffering a minor issue after the Queens Park Rangers game.

  • Form guide

Derby – LLDWL

The Rams have suffered a poor run of form at the wrong time with three defeats in their last five fixtures. A 2-1 loss in their last match against Swansea City leaves Derby nine points from safety with just five games left. A victory against Fulham is a must if Wayne Rooney’s side are to escape the relegation zone this season.

Fulham – DLWWL

Despite a shock 3-1 defeat to Coventry City in their last match, the Cottagers are still in pole position to clinch the Championship title this season. Fulham had won consecutive games before the loss, which they will be looking to put right when they travel to Pride Park on Friday.

  • Ones to watch

Tom Lawrence

Derby captain Tom Lawrence scored the Rams' only goal in their 2-1 defeat to Swansea last time out, as he converted from the spot. The Welshman has been impressive this season having contributed 16 times with goals and assists. If the Rams are to overcome Fulham they will be relying on their skipper once again to produce with the quality he has to offer.

Harry Wilson

Despite Aleksandar Mitrovic’s impressive goal tally this season, Harry Wilson is a player who should not be forgotten. The former Rams loanee has been instrumental in Fulham’s promotion charge, scoring 10 goals whilst registering 15 assists in 36 league appearances. The versatile winger will be looking to make an impact on his return to Pride Park after excelling during his time on loan there.

  • Previous meetings

The reverse fixture at Craven Cottage saw a resilient performance from the Rams to earn a point in a 0-0 draw. The Cottagers do tend to have the upper hand when the two sides meet with the side currently four games unbeaten against Derby which dates back to 2018.

  • How to watch

The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. Coverage will start at 19:30 BST with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 BST. Highlights will be available the following day on social media.
