Fulham have already secured promotion to the Premier League and will be hoping to all but win the title during this fixture.

Three points will put the Cottagers on 90 points and with Bournemouth as the only team that can reach that tally, it would take a 31-goal swing in goal difference for the Cherries to win the league ahead of Fulham

Recent form hasn’t been all too impressive, though, as Marco Silva’s team have only won one league game in four (W1, D1, L2).

Nottingham Forest on the other hand are flying. The Reds have only lost two league games in 2022 and have only taken two less points than Fulham since Steve Cooper’s arrival, having played a game less.

Forest have aspirations of their own as just one point from this fixture will secure a play-off place for the Reds with three games to spare.

However, Forest will want to take all three points from Craven Cottage if they're going to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive. Steve Cooper’s side now sit five points away from Bournemouth in second, with four games to go, and a date against the Cherries to come.

Team news

After an intense game against Bournemouth last time out, it is likely that Marco Silva will look to freshen his Fulham side up.

Antonee Robinson could return for Joe Bryan at left-back, while Jean Michael Seri or former Forest loanee Nathaniel Chalobah could give Tom Cairney a rest in midfield.

Bobby Decordova-Reid could come into the side, and it is doubtful that Neco Williams will feature at right-back after being dropped against Bournemouth for "a technical reason".

Steve Cooper has kept changes to a minimum this season and is likely to name an unchanged side again for this game as his side look to push for promotion.

Lewis Grabban was forced off after just 15 minutes against Peterborough United last time out with an injury and is unlikely to feature against Fulham

“I don’t know yet, to be honest. We’ll check it out when we get back,” Steve Cooper said to the press after the game.

“He was clear straight away that he needed to come off. We’ve got our fingers crossed for him.”

Keinan Davis and Max Lowe remain sidelined through injury.

Predicted lineups

Fulham: Rodák, Tete, Adarabioyo, Ream, Robinson, Chalobah, Reed, Wilson, Carvalho, Decordova-Reid, Mitrovic

Nottingham Forest: Samba, Worrall, Figueiredo, McKenna, Spence, Yates, Garner, Colback, Zinckernagel, Johnson, Surridge

Ones to watch

Aleksander Mitrovic

The Serbian striker was named as the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season on Monday with 41 goals and seven assists. The 27-year-old has scored four goals across Fulham’s last four home league games and will be looking to add to his tally.

Sam Surridge

Surridge is looking for a third goal in as many matches. The 23-year-old now has five goals in all competitions for Forest with just eleven shots on goal. Every time Surridge has scored for Forest in all competitions, the Reds have won the fixture.

Previous meetings

The last time these two sides met was back in October as Steve Cooper lost his first game as Nottingham Forest manager.

An unfortunate own goal from Djed Spence set the tone in the seventh minute of the game as Fulham restricted Forest to one shot on target during the rest of the match.

A brace from Aleksander Mitrovic and a cool finish from Neeskens Kebano finished the game off as Fulham won 4-0 and moved into the automatic promotion places.

How to watch

The match is on Tuesday, April 26, and will kick off at 19:45 BST. Coverage of the game will be available from 19:30 BST on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
