Hoffenheim have reached an agreement with Mark Uth ahead of his proposed move from Eredivisie side, SC Heerenveen.

The 23-year old striker is expected to move to the Bundesliga club in the summer with both parties reaching an agreement, with just a transfer fee to settle between the two sides.

Uth has found the back of the net on 20 occasions in the Eredivisie this season and has helped his side achieve seventh in the table.

A product of 1.FC Köln, Uth moved to to Holland in 2012 after opportunities became limited under Ståle Solbakken, who lasted just one term as Köln manager.

“I never got a real chance [under Solbakken],” Uth was quoted as saying ahead of his move in 2012. Rumours strongly linked the forward with a move back to his former side but Hoffenheim are in pole position to sign the German.

“As a German, it would be nothing more rewarding for me to be successful than in the Bundesliga,” said Uth.
