Visitors Atletico Madrid will aim to continue their winning ways and maintain third place in La Liga, with Sevilla hot on their tails - the two sides are only separated by goal difference, both boasting 66 points.

Despite winning their last match against Real Betis 1-0, with the only goal of the game coming from Diego Costa, Athletico battled with ten men for the best part of 33 minutes, as Mario Hermoso saw red in the 57' minute.

As for the hosts, Getafe are fresh off a 0-0 draw away to Alaves, Getafe will look to get back to winning ways in what is their penultimate game of La Liga's season - with a clash against Inter Milan in the Europa League on the horizon.

Key Battles

In a match which has got such a history of being a heated affair, the battle in the midfield will certainly be a ferocious one. Atletico's Thomas Partey has impressed in the middle of the park for some time now, with an average match rating of 7.16 (via WhoScored.com), Partey is vital to Atletico's set up. The midfielder breaks up the play and protects his back four with ease.

Getafe's Allan Nyom will be welcomed back to the side after serving his suspension and will look to go beyond the Atletico defense. Madrid's Renan Lodi will have to deal with the pace and strength of Nyom and aim to keep his cool. Nyom's penetrating runs could well frustrate Lodi, who will aim to stay on the pitch for the full 90 minutes this time round and avoid a red card.

Previous Meetings

Atletico have won the last four encounters against their counterparts from Madrid, scoring six and conceding none across those encounters.
