Wales named their 26 man squad for UEFA Euro 2020 on Sunday night, with young Cardiff City attacking midfielder Rubin Colwill included amongst the players that will be travelling to Baku for their first two group games against Switzerland and Turkey after friendlies against France and Albania this coming week.

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey was no surprise, with many tipping him to be a key player for Wales this summer.

Wayne HennesseyBen Davies, Joe Rodon and Chris Mepham will be vying for those defensive positions alongside Ethan Ampadu, Chelsea's 20-year-old midfielder or defender who spent this past season on loan at Sheffield United.

Swansea City right-back Connor RobertsStoke City goalkeeper Adam Davies and St Pauli central defender James Lawrence also make the squad.

Another of Wales' Euro 2016 heroes, Joe Allen, is included despite missing the majority of Stoke's season with injury - many will expect him to have a cameo role in this competition, with his experience in the dressing room key.

Luton Town's Joe Morrell and Matt Smith of Manchester City, who spent this season on loan at Doncaster Rovers will no doubt be pushing Allen for the jersey in midfield.

Jonny Williams, Kieffer Moore, Harry Wilson and David Brooks highlight that Wales have quality going forward, and Neco Williams and Danny Ward will also want to be there to fight for a starting place and not just make up the numbers.

Dan James, Ben Cabango, Rhys Norrington-Davies, Dylan Levitt, Tyler Roberts, Chris Gunter and Gareth Bale will have been obvious picks from all Wales fans, but Uncapped attacking midfielder Rubin Colwill, who only turned 19 last month, is the big shock. He only made his senior debut for Cardiff City in February.
